An already balmy night in Perth got all the hotter as EPW returned to the Gate One Theatre for the first show of 2020.
'The Nice Guy' Dan Moore has a decorated career as a tag team champion but not so much when it has come to individual glory. After reaching the finals for the Invitational Tournament but coming up short his focus has shifted to facing the current Coastal Champion Marcius Pitt. As big as an opportunity as this is Moore is also dealing with a protege with a crush on The Untouchables manager Amber. At a time when Moore does not need a distraction could this affect the outcome?
The reunion of Taylor King and the Taskforce was one of the highlight moments of ReAwakening but the good feelings may be short lived as Tyler Jacobs is not a man to be crossed. The Taskforce are in a numbers game as at the conclusion one side will be short a member. From the view of Father Jacobs this is a perfect opportunity to grow his flock.
The new Invitational Tournament winner, Julian Ward is tired of waiting his turn and is determined to kick off his year by dethroning the man who already has a convincing victory over him 'Mad' Mikey Nichols. The chip on Ward's shoulder has been growing steadily and after achieving the victory in the Invitational Tournament without the assistance of The Untouchables could this momentum gain him the gold or will he be another notch on the belt for the new EPW Champion?
